Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AudioStudio ("AudioStudio", "we", "us"), operated by Live Pixel Media, collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you use the web application at audiostudio.io (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
Audio you provide: audio files you upload or import, and the processed versions generated by the Service.
Usage data: minutes of audio processed, plan type, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. Google Drive access (Google user data)

If you choose to import audio from Google Drive, we request the Google Drive (read-only) permission (.../auth/drive.readonly) solely so that you can browse your Drive in the Google Picker and select the audio file(s) you want to import.

What we access: Only the specific file(s) you select in the Google Picker. We read the selected file in order to download a copy into your project for processing.

What we do NOT do: We do not scan, index, read, or store the rest of your Google Drive. We do not modify or delete anything in your Drive. We do not use Google Drive data for advertising, profiling, or to train machine-learning models. We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties.

Tokens: The Google access token is used only in your browser session to authorize the import and is not stored on our servers after the import completes.

Retention & deletion: Imported files are treated like any uploaded file (see section 5). You can delete them at any time from your project.

Limited Use disclosure

AudioStudio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use your information

To provide the audio restoration and mastering features you request.
To manage your account, plan, and processed-minutes usage.
To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Processing & third-party services

Audio processing runs on our own servers. We use a limited set of infrastructure providers (server hosting) that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. AI noise/reverb processing is performed on our servers and is not sent to third-party AI services.

5. Data retention & deletion

Uploaded and imported audio, and their processed results, are stored so you can keep working on your projects; retention length depends on your plan.
You can delete individual files or whole projects at any time from within the app. Deletion removes the audio from our active storage.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to servers is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
